Educational content and animal welfare
idoghome publishes general information about dogs, including care, training, accessories, travel and news. Articles do not establish a veterinary-client relationship and are not a diagnosis, prescription or individual treatment plan. A dog's age, health, history and environment can change what is appropriate. Ask a veterinarian or an appropriately qualified behaviour professional when your circumstances require individual advice.
Do not delay urgent veterinary care because of something you have read here. Our contact email is not an emergency service. Product information is not a guarantee of suitability, and rules for travel or other activities can change; check the responsible organization before relying on them.
Sources, dates and availability
We aim to present useful, accurately attributed information, but an article may contain an error or become outdated. Earlier reference dates in the archive relate to the underlying story or topic and do not establish when the current idoghome text was first published. The archive received an editorial review in October 2026; this was not a veterinary review.
The website may be changed, interrupted or temporarily unavailable. We do not promise uninterrupted access or that every article answers every reader's circumstances. Tell us about a specific error using the guidance on our page.
